A Bit About Me
I've have worked broadly with industry leaders, conservation organizations and philanthropies to help advance collaborative efforts across sectors as diverse as fisheries and ocean ecosystems, consumer packaged goods, metals and energy.
A seasoned facilitator and strategic planner, I have extensive experience in helping organizations and collaborative groups surface opportunities and issues, and to find the common ground required to move opportunities forward.
I'm currently Project Leader for the NGO Tuna Forum, which brings together NGOs, individuals and organizations that work comprehensively on tuna sustainability issues globally. I currently lead efforts to implement the Market Commitment Evaluation Framework for the seafood supply chain. Previously, I have helped to establish the U.S. IUU/Labor Rights Coalition and consulted for the Anti-IUU Forum Japan.
Further back, I led Corporate and Marketing Communications - as well as state and local government affairs - for Heinz North America. I served as vice president in the corporate practice at Ketchum, with a specialty in Issues and Crisis Management. And oh yeah, my first job was as an advertising copywriter at a tiny firm in Baltimore.
It's been a fun ride. Still is.
